This is one more gorgeous park with views of pink granite Georgian Bay Coast and extraordinary views of lakes among the Pine hills. The hikes are really beautiful in this park. Chances of spotting a bear is quite high! It’s also one of the popular fall destinations after Killarney. If you are visiting this park, make sure you also visit Historic Killarney village, founded in 1820, popular for its fish and chips…ice cream is good too!

If you are travelling from Toronto, keep in mind that there are hardly any restaurants on your way after Barrie. The only popular city is Parry Sound that you can take a quick detour for food. We would suggest pack smartly for this trip. Also, make sure you visit French River Provincial park on your way back home, you don’t have to pay to enter additional parks if you have already purchased access for one provincial park and it’s valid of that day. Visit the suspension bridge!
